About the Project
Prudential plc is a multinational insurance company with 20 million life customers. It owns Prudential Corporation Asia, which has insurance and asset management operations across 14 markets in Asia.
The Purpose
Prudential HK wanted a way for actuaries to generate bespoke insurance packages, risk them, and correspond with underwriters in a single application, effectively streamlining a previously fragmented workflow.
Mapping PruWorks Core Functions
We consulted with Prudential to map the existing user journeys and service design architecture. We went through an iterative wireframing process, testing core assumptions with a number of end users, and adapting based on feedback.
Design Guide for Consistency
Before designing the screens, a guide with typography, buttons, colors, and interface components was created and was constantly updated throughout the process.
Prototyping, Analysis and Testing
Based on a detailed description of the information architecture, we created wireframes that were tested on potential users and supported with elements discovered during the testing process. We aimed to make the service usable and ensure all functionality was simple and effective to use.
Designing product that makes sense
The visual style was created to ensure it resonates with modern design trends and appeals to both actuaries and salespeople.
